about

I had a dream. Bob (Dylan) was in his mid-1960s incarnation, looking beautiful and pepped up on speed. We were at a party. I was following him around this house, which was arranged a lot like my aunt's old house in Munster, Indiana. He was being such a jerk! We got to the kitchen sink, and he stopped, turned to look at me, and said, "Hey, man. 9-9-1 hippopotamus, man."

The bridge goes back to 2011, and was thus coincidentally composed only a few years after the death of Allen Coage.

lyrics

9-9-1 hippopotamus

Well, something ain't wrong, something ain't right
You keep spilling juice on me every night
When I get up, you pull me back down
And then you say I'm talking like Bad News Brown
